Who is Trademark Dad?

Christopher Johnson, Esq.
Christopher Johnson is the attorney behind Trademark Dad. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law, Class of 2014. He has been a practicing attorney in Nebraska since 2014, and was admitted to the Federal Courts for the District of Nebraska in 2016.
Chris married Devin, his high school sweetheart, in 2011, and their daughter, Kaelynn, came in September 2013, followed by son Ezekiel in September 2016, son Elijah in March 2018, and daughter Kamila in September 2019. They added their two dogs, Charles and Rooster, in 2023.
Professionally, Chris passed the bar in September 2014. He then went to work for Svehla Law Offices, a general practice firm in York, Nebraska. During that time, he served as the interim York County Public Defender, and was appointed County Attorney in York County in 2017, and elected to the same office in 2018. After leaving the County Attorney's Office in 2019 due to medical complications, Chris joined the domestic litigation firm of Cordell and Cordell in their Lincoln office. Chris was elected in 2022 as the Polk County Attorney, a post he serves in to this day, and is also the Chief Deputy County Attorney in York County, Nebraska.
In 2024, Chris founded Trademark Dad, a firm based in federal practice on intellectual property - specifically trademarks.
In what spare time he finds, Chris is a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge #1024. He also volunteers his time as a judge for conference mock trial competitions, and a coach for youth sports, including wrestling, teeball, softball, baseball, and soccer.
